The Globe

A fabulous remodel… the inside is great. Had fried pretzels and they were a pleasant surprise. The food was a version of oktoberfest done local. Staff was very attentive. Restrooms nice and clean. If I lived here, i would be back again and again.

Black Sheep Restaurant

Finally, a restaurant that presents itself as high-end dining and actually lives up to it, something we’ve had a hard time finding in the Fannin, Union, and Towns County area. I called for reservations for our party of six and we were seated near the bar area at the front of the restaurant. They were able to turn down the music so my hard-of-hearing dad could participate in the conversation. Abby was a wonderful server and was very attentive but never hovering. We were celebrating our friend’s birthday and I had baked a special cake. The kitchen cut slices for everyone and Abby brought them out. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. This is definitely going to be a restaurant that we come back to visit.

Nocturnal Brewing

Takes about 15 min to get there from the cabin, but has amazing food and beer.

Murphy’s Chophouse

The staff was so friendly!! The food was not too bad either(: I just wasn’t the biggest fan of the salad, the flatbread was good! Also they accommodated for a vegan diet which was sweet (:

Chevelle’s 66

Absolutely delicious burger! I ordered the ‘California’ and it was perfect. Our waitress (I believe her name was Haley) was very friendly and took great care of us

Parson’s Pub

This is our new favorite Irish Pub, the food and the service were great. The corned beef and cabbage and the fish and chips were excellent. All their fried food is cooked in a convection oven instead of a deep fryer, so I was able enjoy my favorites without all the fat. They have a great beer selection, including a lot of local breweries, and our server was really helpful in making our selections.
